Okay, what does that mean exactly? Does it mean you’re going to stop smoking? Go on a diet? Turn into a Trekkie? Become an exercise fanatic? Move to a commune? Well, I’m not doing any of those things. I don’t smoke in the first place. Okay, I do need to go on a diet and start exercising but I don’t see any reason to go fanatical about it. I enjoy Star Trek but I’ve never had a desire to live my life according to the show. As for moving to a commune? No thanks. They probably don’t have Diet Coke, high speed internet service or satellite TV.
So, now it’s time for “This Day in History”:
- Actress Eva Gabor was born on this date in 1919. She is most famous for playing Lisa Douglas on the TV show Green Acres.
- In 1938, the BBC produced the world’s first science fiction TV show, a portion of a play titled “R.U.R” by Karel Capek. The word “robot” was first coined then.
- In 1941, Chattanooga Choo Choo by Glenn Miller and his band was awarded the first ever gold record for selling 1 million copies.
Not a lot on TV tonight. Just Burn Notice and The Mentalist. Oh, it’s also the start of a new season of Survivor. It’s “Heroes vs Villains” and they’ve brought back a bunch of former contestants. But I find I just don’t care.
Did more tweaking/revising last night.
This is the really boring part of being a writer, in my opinion.
Reading: I’m finally reading Boneshaker by Cherie Priest. For some reason it took me awhile to get into it but once I did? It’s been a wild rollercoaster ride! I’m enjoying it a lot now.

Your reaction to Life Changes is funny! *G* Glad your tweaking of the Greek gods is going well. I tried to get into Boneshaker, but couldn’t. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it. Daughter wants to read Leviathan, another steampunk book written for teens.
I hope you’re having a lovely day!

I hear you on life changes…
Glad to hear you’re still tweaking despite it being boring.
