Thankfully, that is not the case for me. However, I don’t drink milk. I like milk but it makes my sinus trouble worse. But I don’t notice that issue with cheese and such. Go figure. Good thing since I love cheese. *g*
Today in history:
- In 1901, actor Chester Morris was born. I remember him from watching reruns of his low-budget Boston Blackie movies.
- In 1903, ventriloquist Edgar Bergen was born. He was famous in his own right, of course, but he’s also Candace Bergen‘s father.
- In 1909, actor Hugh Beaumont was born. He’s probably most famous for portraying the dad in Leave It to Beaver
- In 1921, actress/dancer Vera-Ellen was born.
- In 1923, Howard Carter unsealed the burial chamber of King Tutankhamun.
Tonight, we have tons o’ Olympics coverage. More than I can actually watch, so curling may get shoved to the bottom of the priority list. Unless I watch some of it this afternoon. Our women’s hockey team is playing against Russia this afternoon, too. Tonight we have men’s figure skating which we have a good shot at medaling in, women’s snowboard cross which is almost like roller derby on snow, women’s speed skating, and men’s skiing.
Also on tonight are Lost and the final two episodes of A Traveler’s Guide to the Planets. Needless to say I’ll be recording those.
Did some more revising on the book last night.
Reading: Still reading The Edge and enjoying it a great deal.
Spoiler alert! Don’t read the rest of this post if you don’t want to know what happened last night!
Last night we had the medal round for men’s snowboard cross which was won by American Seth Wescott.
And we also had the medal round for pairs figure skating which, not too surprisingly, was won by the Chinese team of Shen & Zhou. What IS surprising is the fact that Russia won no medals at all in this event! The Russians have dominated pairs figure skating for 50 years!!! But no more. China won gold and silver. The bronze went to Germany.

I don’t like milk, either. But, I do love Cheese. *G* Did you read the article on yahoo today? They’ve finally found what killed King Tut. AND that his Mom and Dad were brother and sister. (Ewww.)
Hope you have a sensational day!
