I love that excuse!!!
Woke up this morning to the news that ’80s teen actor Corey Haim died early this morning from an apparent drug overdose. He had a history of drug addiction and it’s a shame he couldn’t beat it.
As you know, I adored Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Well, from the same genius who brought us that literary classic, we now have:
Other great books out now or coming soon:
Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter
Robin Hood and Friar Tuck: Zombie Killers
The Undead World of Oz
The War of the Worlds Plus Blood, Guts and Zombies
Alice in Zombieland
Emma and the Werewolves
Wish I could think up a brilliant mash-up of my own.
Tonight on TV, we have Human Target (which I’m thinking of giving up), Criminal Minds, CSI: NY, Psych and Ghost Hunters.
Did more tweaking last night on the book.
Reading: Finished up Me and Mr. Darcy which was cute, though I could see why some people were dissatisfied with it. Next up is Take Me If You Dare by Candace Havens. This is a break from her fantasy/paranormal romances.

The excuse for today is pretty funny! *G* I am actually thinking of reading this one! I read Corey Haim died in the hospital and they’re not sure what of yet, that he had recently had flu-like symptoms…… Hmm.
Hope you enjoy your day, and night!

Hi
I’m Paul A. Freeman, the author of ‘Robin Hood and Friar Tuck: Zombie Killers – a Canterbury Tale by Paul A. Freeman’.
Unlike some of the other listed books, mine is not a monster mash-up since there is no definitive Robin Hood book. All we have are leend fragments of the famous outlaw.
The book is actually part of my ‘new’ Canterbury Tales project, my aim being to promote interest in Chaucer amongst both students and scholars, as well as amongst lay readers of ‘The Father of English Literature’.
My ‘new’ Canterbury Tales chronicle the pilgrims’ return journey to London, and so far I’ve completed eight Tales, all in different genres and varying in topic from fable to chick lit to crime / mystery fiction.
‘The Monk’s Second Tale’, my horror ‘Canterbury Tale’, is the one published under the awesome title ‘Robin Hood and Friar Tuck: Zombie Killers – A Canterbury Tale by Paul A. Freeman’ (see below):

The three ‘Canterbury Tales’ pages of my website, the first being http://www.paulfreeman.weebly.com/canterbury-tales-1.html give details of my Canterbury Tales project, as well as including excerpts from the ‘return leg’ tales of the Squire, the Shipman, the Wife of Bath, the Doctor of Physic, the Knight (an Arthurian adventure), the Miller, the Monk and the Prioress.
Feel free to share my website link with anyone you feel may enjoy or benefit from my work. The yarn is a fun read in addition to conveying to the reader the basics of Chaucerian English.
The goal of my project is to make Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales universally accessible and to again popularize the tradition of storytelling through narrative poetry. ‘The Monk’s Second Tale’ is already available from Coscom Entertainment through Amazon, and my ‘Miller’s Second Tale’ is being prepared for an anthology of neo-medieval creative writing to be submitted to Brepols Publishers. The abridged version of my Knight’s Second Tale will also soon be published in the Every Day Poets’ poetry anthology.
Thank you for your time, and I hope I may have piqued your interest in ‘Robin Hood and Friar Tuck: Zombie Killers – A Canterbury Tale by Paul A. Freeman’.
All the Chaucerian best.
