 Well, that’s one excuse I’ve never used and one that would never be believed if I did. *g*

Not a lot going on here. And I know you’re more interested in last night’s DWTS anyway. :) So here goes: [»]

Classic excuse! LOL!

We have people here putting a roof on our front deck. We had it built with a pergola type roof but after last winter’s heavy snow we decided it needed a real roof. So. The roofers, as is their usual modus operandi, are very noisy. The sawing and hammering I could handle. But the drill screwing in screws that make this horrible fingernails on chalkboard type sound? Not so much. Time to break out the iPod and the sound-dampening earbuds.

Tonight we have a Kate Gosselin-free DWTS! :cheer: And a new episode of Chuck. However, for reasons unknown, Castle is a rerun.

Added a lot of music yesterday and I’m closing in on just what I lost.

Reading: Finished up re-reading The Bloody Tower. And I’ve started Mad, Bad and Blonde by Cathie Linz. She’s a new-to-me author. The looks like a lot of fun.

I’m fresh out of ideas that don’t involve excuses. *g*

On this date in history:

  • 1901 – New York becomes the first state in the U.S. to require automobile license plates.
  • 1939 – Batman makes his debut in DC Comics’ Detective Comics #27.

Not a lot going on here. It’s overcast again. What’s up with that? Stupid weather. Nothing on tonight, so I’ll be catching up on more recorded shows.

Reading: Still re-reading The Bloody Tower.
