That’s actually the excuse from yesterday but since I forgot to write a blog post yesterday….
I was working on a project yesterday for my mom. She’s been organizing all the notes and scraps of info we inherited from her sister. Aunt Lola wrote down a bunch of entertaining stuff she remembered about growing up in Arkansas in the 1930s and 1940s. Mom dealt with it the old-fashioned way. ON A TYPEWRITER.
So I had to convert it to text and pretty it up because the ribbon on the typewriter is on its last legs. So to speak. *g*
Tonight on TV we have new episodes of Leverage (I hope we get a good Eliot fight scene!), Top Shot (trick shooting—should be fun!) and Poirot.
Reading: Now I’m reading Betty Gordon at Boarding School by Alice B. Emerson. It’s the first book I’m reading on the Nook! It’s a children’s mystery from the 1920s.

Did you finish it all and how many pages were converted?
Are you having fun with your new toy?

It was nice of you to convert all that for you Mom. And how fascinating it must be to see all that family history of someone you knew!
Having fun with your new toy, eh? *G* GOOD!
I hope you’re having a pleasing Sunday!

How cool to have all that stuff from your aunt. I dated a guy once who had a bound/printed journal from a great-grandfather from back in the 1860s. Though it was mostly day-to-day stuff, I found it fascinating.
Happy Nook-ing.
