Well, a pint IS a single serving! Isn’t it? :hungry:

Today in history:

  • 1891 – Thomas Edison patented the motion picture camera. :whoo:
  • 1932 – Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the United States non-stop. She flew from Los Angeles to Newark, New Jersey.

Not a lot going on here. Our humidity has dropped a fair bit, so it’s not quite so breath-stealing when you step outside. Not as dry as the desert, though, no matter what our weatherman seems to think. *g*

The road work has been going on for awhile. They were working yesterday where I could see them. Noisy. Probably stinky up close, too, since they were pouring asphalt. :yuck:

 For those of you not on Facebook or who didn’t see my status update, while searching for some notes I’d written myself about my zombie story (which I never did find), I discovered an “autosaved” copy of the entire book I though I thought I’d lost when the external hard drive crashed back in April. The copy was in a folder I’d never thought to look in on the laptop drive. So there was much rejoicing on my part last night.

On TV tonight, we have Wipeout, Warehouse 13, White Collar, Memphis Beat and a special on the History Channel about Thomas Jefferson.

Reading: Now I’m reading another children’s ebook, this one from 1932. The Merriweather Girls and the Mystery of the Queen’s Fan by Lizette M. Edholm.

  2. A pint is a single serving when we’re talking about Ben and Jerry’s cake batter ice cream. *G*

SO glad to hear you found your story! Does this mean you’ll be writing again?

Hope your day has been lively and lovely!
