Okay, that made me laugh but it’s a fabulous excuse!

Got this from Dru. :)

5 things always in my purse
Wallet, digital camera, sunglasses, ChapStick, pen
5 Things always in my wallet
Identification card (since I don’t drive now), medical insurance card, library card, bank card, change
5 things always in my refrigerator
Milk, eggs, water, Diet Coke, cheese
5 Things always in my closet
Pants, office supplies, file cabinets, medical supplies, shoes
5 things always on my desk
laptop, router, calendar, pen, sinus meds

Nothing much going on here today. I think I’ll order a Nook this afternoon. :headspin:

Tonight on TV we only have a new episode of Doctor Who which I’ll be recording.

Reading: I’m now reading Stalking the Puzzle Lady by Parnell Hall. This is another new-to-me author and I’m loving the book. Several laugh-out-loud moments. :)

This meme is making the rounds.

The instructions: Just copy the list of 100 accomplishments, highlight the ones you’ve achieved in bold, and elaborate as desired. Be forewarned, this is a long meme: a marathon to read; just about as long to write.

Since it’s so long, I’m going to put it behind the cut. [»]

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a meme, so since Trish created her own, I thought I’d do it today. Memes on Monday seem like a good idea. :) So, without further ado:

Famous People Meme — Which famous person in each of the following categories would you like to meet?

Author — Agatha Christie (of course, she’s dead, so I’d need the Ghost Hunters team to help me  )
Movie Actor — Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan
TV Actor — Nicholas Lea, Jeffrey Donovan or Colin Ferguson
Musician/Singer — Brad Paisley (and if you meet Brad, you stand a good chance of meeting William Shatner or Jason Alexander too, since they’re always popping up in his videos! ) or the boys from Def Leppard
Historical Figure — Jesus, King Tutankhamun (I want to know how he really died!) or Amelia Earhart (just what DID happen to her???)
Fictional Book Character — Roarke (and Eve Dallas, I guess, but mostly Roarke *g*), Simon Templar or the gang from the Trixie Belden books
Fictional Movie or TV Character — Sheriff Jack Carter, Remington Steele (to cover both sides of the law  )

If you decide to play along, leave me a comment so I can come look!

Interestingly, the winner of the women’s 1500m race last night (in track not swimming *g*) is a former Irish step dancer. Dara Torres won the 50m race last night. :whoo: But she’s thinking about dropping the 100m race at Beijing because the 50m is really her race.

Tonight, I’ll be watching recorded shows and the new episode of The Middleman.

Today I’m going to get back into the writing groove. Must. Finish. Something.

Reading: I finished Deja Demon last night. Not sure what I’m going to read next. I need to get to the library, but that won’t happen today.
