Since I totally blanked on the fact yesterday was Tacky Tuesday, we’ll have Wacky Wednesday today. *g*

Today, we’re going to venture to the wilds of Wisconsin ( :hello: Barb!) where we’ll find all manner of offbeat tourist attractions. Where else would you find the World’s Largest Badger? Then we’ll head over to look at the Giant Bear Trap (shhh! don’t tell PETA). Our final stop today is Da Yoopers Tourist Trap. See? They know they’re tacky and they’re proud of it!

Tonight on TV, we have Wipeout for laughs, Ghost Hunters for our ghostly viewing, Destination Truth for our cute & cuddly monster-hunter viewing, and a new show on the History Channel called MysteryQuest which looks like it could be interesting.

Worked on my weapon design last night. Some of my ideas aren’t going to work. Unless I describe them by way of my heroine asking the hero if he really wants to know how they work and he says “no”. LOL!

Reading: Now I’m reading From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris. This is the next to most recent Sookie Stackhouse book. When I finish it and check out the next one I’ll finally be caught up on the series!

Last week, Dru wanted to know if there were any tacky tourist traps in the New York City area. NYC is chockful of them! In fact, there are so many I had a hard time choosing just a few!

Our first stop today is The City Reliquary. It’s a big museum crammed into a tiny little storefront in Brooklyn.

Next we’ll visit the Hello Kitty statues.

For lunch, we’ll be eating at The Jekyll & Hyde Club which according to our friends at Roadside America is like eating inside the Disney Haunted Mansion.

After lunch you can visit Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum or wander around the Big Apple and discover the many other wonderful sites to be seen.

Thank you for taking today’s Tacky Tuesday Tour!

Tonight on TV, we have Ruby and the Rockits (always good for a giggle), Warehouse 13 (for a touch of steampunk) and Surviving Disaster (where former Navy SEAL Cade Courtley will teach us how to survive a raging inferno in an office building). RESEARCH!!!!

Didn’t do much steampunk research yesterday, but the zombie invasion is apparently still on the table. I can’t seem to scrub the idea from my brain. *g*

Reading: I started reading Twanged by Carol Higgins Clark last night, but I went to the library today, so I’m going to save it for when I’m finished with the library books.

It’s Tacky Tuesday, boys and girls! :whoo: Today, we’ll be heading south to the great state of Florida. First stop, the World’s Largest Bowling Pin in Tampa. (We’ll pretend the other “world’s largest bowling pins” in other states don’t exist, ‘kay?) Once we’ve had our fill of the giant bowling pin, we’ll head over to St. Petersburg and the world’s largest shuffleboard court! And just to stick with our sports theme, we’ll head to Ocala and the Big Daddy Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing. And we’ll close our trip with another bowling-related location. The Bowling Ball House in Safety Harbor.

Tonight on TV we have Ruby and the Rockits and Warehouse 13.

Read through and tweaked about twelve pages last night.

Reading: Last night I read Aunt Dimity, Detective by Nancy Atherton. It was a good read, but the title was a tad misleading. Aunt Dimity was barely even in the book! Now I’m reading Windfall by Rachel Caine.
