*grumble* CBS advertised a new episode of NCIS for last night. The TV listings said it was it was a new episode. So what did they air? The first flippin’ episode of the season. Bastards.

I don’t know what’s up with them. Tonight, I thought we were supposed to have a new Criminal Minds, but the TV listings say they’re showing Christmas speicals. CBS’s website says it’s a repeat CI. But they do both agree we get a new CSI: New York. So that’s something.

Christmas Card Arrives 93 Years Late
A postcard featuring a color drawing of Santa Claus and a young girl was mailed in 1914, but its journey was slower than Christmas. It just arrived in northwest Kansas.

And I thought our mail service was bad!

Reading: I’m about 1/3 of the way through 1634: The Galileo Affair. I’m starting to wish I’d re-read 1633 beforehand because I’m having trouble keeping track of who’s who. The series has a cast of thousands. I may have to create my own scorecard!

It’s Weird News Wednesday! An interesting thing in the news this past week.

A “Dino Mummy” was recently unveiled, though it was discovered in 1998, I believe. It’s the most intact dinosaur remains in existence.

I finally warmed up yesterday. I don’t know why I was so cold. It was fairly warm outside. Today… not so much. It’s currently 45, but the temps are supposed to drop from there. And it’s STILL rainy. Highs in the 40s tomorrow & Friday. Then highs in the bloody 30s over the weekend. Brr!
