I don’t usually talk about my writing all that much here except to report how many pages I’ve written. But something dawned on me this morning about my process that has me giggling like an idiot. One thing you have to understand, I hate shopping. I am so not into shoes and purses and designer clothes. I’d rather wear a pair of ratty old shorts and a t-shirt and go barefoot. My current heroine, however, loves shoes and designer clothes. And I just realized this morning that I have fun shopping for her. We find the cutest shoes and such at the Neiman Marcus website. *g*

On TV tonight, we have the season premiere of Chuck, plus Dancing with the Stars, Heroes, and CSI: Miami.

Well, I thought I had the wireless situation all up and running. But now my dad’s computer is only picking up the wireless signal intermittently. Very annoying. Now I have to figure out how to boost the signal.

Reading: Now I’m reading Ultra Violet by Nancy Bush. I just love this series about budding P.I. Jane Kelly and her pug Binkster. :)

On this date in 1935, Judy Garland signed her first contract with MGM.

In 1954, The Tonight Show made its debut with host Steve Allen. Coincidentally, it’s also the birthday of Allen’s widow Jayne Meadows who turns 88 today.

And here’s something to make a body feel old. Shaun Cassidy turns 50 today!

Not much on tonight except Primeval. Nothing like hot British guys to perk a girl right up. :) Unless, it’s hot Navy SEALs, of course.

I’ll also be watching recorded stuff today. Last night I finally watched last week’s Eureka. Wow! I so did not see THAT coming. Also watched Criminal Minds and CSI: NY. Did the former seem a little, I don’t know, disjointed?

I was lazy last night and only wrote half a page. But, hey! That’s half a page more than I had before. *g*

Reading: Finished up Sofie Metropolis which I enjoyed tremendously (thanks, Brandy!). Then I started Bobbie Faye’s (kinda, sorta, not exactly) Family Jewels by Toni McGee Causey. Should be fun. :)

Cool story about Hurricane Ike. The hurricane uncovered a mystery shipwreck off the coast of Alabama.

And now for my Survivor report. [»]
